Exciting tasks and plenty of variety await you on the myStudy programme in Tourism Management: it has a business management focus and is geared towards current trends. You will therefore work intensively on sustainability management, digitalisation and crisis management. You will also learn the basics of topics such as tourism and destination management, marketing, market research and project management. The degree programme also prepares you for tour operator and travel sales management, hotel management and event management. You will learn the most important things about planning and developing holidays, hotel operations and events.

Duration: 6 Semesters

Study Model & Examinations
Self-study with learning materials and learning AI. Subsequent consolidation through regular accompanying events on campus or virtually. Exams can be taken on your campus or flexibly online.
Courses
2-3 days per week in the attendance phase. Practical work with your fellow students under the guidance of experienced lecturers. Days and times vary depending on location/semester.

The tourism industry is evolving and you have the opportunity to shape it! You will deal with exciting topics – from sustainable tourism to e-tourism during your studies. You will learn to plan holiday trips or events or promote holiday regions so your customers can experience unforgettable moments. At a later stage, you can choose between three mandatory elective modules with which you can further specialise.
The bachelor's degree in Tourism Management has a modular structure. This means that you will learn the different subject areas through various modules. For the completion of each module you will earn ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System). These ECTS are internationally recognised.
Compulsory elective modules: In compulsory elective areas A, B and C, you choose two compulsory elective modules each. Compulsory elective area D: Decide at the beginning between an internship at a company or modules from elective area D. You complete the internship with a practical reflection. If you opt for the modules from compulsory elective area D, all modules from this area must be completed. Mixed forms between internship and elective area D are not possible.
